Dr. ST GOPAL
Senior consultant Gastroenterologist and Transplant Hepatologist
Dr ST Gopal- He completed MRCP from the Royal college of Physicians, London. He did specialization in Gastroenterology from the Royal college of Physicians, UK (CCST in Gastroenterology). Further, Dr ST Gopal pursued specialization in Hepatology-Liver transplant at King’s College- London, Cambridge University Teaching Hospital-Cambridge, St. Jame’s University Hospital- Leeds & Sheffield University Teaching Hospitals-Sheffield.
He was one of the key persons in developing first of its kind liver unit at BGS Global Hospitals in 2008 & was heading Hepatology department. He led the first ever successful liver transplant in that hospital.
He has now been heading Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Apollo Hospitals, Bannerghatta Road, the flagship Apollo hospitals, since 2010. Also as a transplant Hepatologist led first ever successful liver transplant in Apollo Hospitals, Bannerghatta Road.
His special interest is Hepatology, Liver Transplant & Therapeutic endoscopy.
He has done thousands of complex endoscopic procedures, stenting, bleeder therapy, ERCP, Endoscopic ultrasound, endoscopic Bariatric procedures, Balloon enteroscopy, EUS-FNA .
He has been awarded FRCP (Fellowship of Royal College of Physicians) by the Royal College of Physicians, UK, recognizing his outstanding achievement in the field of Hepatology & Gastroenterology.

Senior Fellow in Endoscopy, Dr Farook has more than ten of years experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, at tertiary care centers. He is adept in managing all types of gastrointestinal emergencies.

Cheif Dietition
She has a PhD in nutrition and dietitetics from King’s college London. She was a registered dietitian in the U.K. She worked in London , UK in the NHS Denmark Hill as a diabetes educator & researcher. She won the best outgoing student award for her Master’s degree and the gold medal for the highest marks in her Bachelor’s degree.
